About Me

Digital Marketing combines two of my greatest skills and passions: writing and selling. As a child, the first thing I did when I learned to read was to start writing fun stories. I was writing in the 90s what was later called fan-fiction; stories where my favorite movie characters were put in crazy predicaments. I always loved writing assignments in school. When other students dreaded long essays, I revered them as an escape from the work I actually hated (math).
Later on, I got a few jobs in sales. As it turned out, I could sell things pretty well. I saw it as a way to help people, to match them with the thing that could solve their problem.
I realized these two things, writing and selling, could be honed to a higher ability. I bought a course on copywriting, some books on sales, and went to work. Now, I can write a product description that turns a looker into a buyer. I can write an e-mail that can pique curiosity and interest, turning something that might have been discarded into the junk-mail pile into something a viewer actually clicks on.
